Happy Birthday to me!!

Hi everyone! I have some very important news today!! Its my birthday!!! I was born on January 17th. I'm turing 12! Anyway, lets get to my birthday presents. I got two aeropostale shirts from Krithika, or Krithi Kazoo. She has her own blog, so check that out too. Also I got a Uno Spin game from Vikki( Krithi's sister), I got a handbag, and a board game from my other friends also. Thanks to all of my friends who got me a present, and also came to my birthday party!

Don't eat sugar free gum, or drink soda!!!!! Its dangerous, and is life threatening!! Well, sugar free gum contains sorbitol which is an alternative to sugar. Sorbitol is mixed with gum to bring out that sugar taste, since the gum is sugar free. Sorbitol is a highly dangerous substance which if eaten enough, will cause Reye Syndrome. Reye Syndrome is a potentially fatal disease that causes numerous detrimental effects to many organs, especially the brain and liver. It causes irrevesable brain damage, and ruins the lungs. It mostly affects children, and young teens. There is no cure for this horrible syndrome.

Soda is the other dangerous thing to drink. Some sodas like Mountain Dew, Fresca, Fanta, and is even found in the power drinks, such as Gatorade. Brominated Vegetable Oil, has as it's composition the element of bromine in which, believe it or not, the vapors of bromine are considered both corrosive and toxic...in other words can outrightly be considered a poisonous chemical. The chemical bromine is used for a number of products, from one of the chemicals that treat surfaces for light-sensitive photographic printing papers, as an additive for gasoline, to agricultural fumigants. At one time, bromine was even used to make sedatives, but then the FDA banned its usage around 1975, as it was found to trigger a whole host of psychiatric disorders. This causes heart and kidney diseases, and results in permanent memory loss.

Brand New Decade!! 2010!!!

Happy New Year!!! Its a brand new year!!! My resolutions are that I have to study better, listen to my parents more, and get a cat!! I really, really want a cat!!!!
