They are so cool and come in lots of different color, texture, designs, and shapes. I got the slim shaped ones with a sand bottom texture, and it is decorated with designs of peacock feather, and also a peacock. They were first founded in Brazil, and were a big sensation ever since! They are even given out in gift bags at the Oscars to celebrities! Also, when you buy a pair of Havaianas, it even comes with its own tag, and hologram sticker of authenticity. You can go to the website: www.havaianas.com. See you guys later!!!

I got an apple laptop!!! : )
Hi guys! Good news! Guess what!? I got an apple laptop!!! : ) OK, let me tell you the whole story. It all started when I got a pink Sony laptop last year to do my homework on (I don't like the color pink, but I liked the laptop anyway). Then, approximately 1 year later, it died. Literally! First, one of my family members decided to spill water on the laptop, and it got all sticky and the buttons dried up and were really hard to push. (Actually, that family member was me!!!)Anyway, for a while I had to share my mom's Dell laptop and we had to constantly fight over it. Then, my parents decided to get me an apple laptop. I got really, really happy! I ordered the laptop two days ago on Amazon.com, and I got it yesterday from the UPS mailman. The service was really good, and I'm happy that I got it so fast! Talk to you later! Au Revoir! (That means good bye in french.) Bye!

Happy April Fool's Day!
Hey guys! I have a favor for you! Make sure to do it today, because its supposed to be for April Fools. Ok, go to www.google.com, and see what happens! DON'T READ ON PAST THE DOTS! It will ruin the surprise................................................................................
Ok, so did you see the website? Cool, right? Ok, so here is the explanation behind it. Read this artical from CNN.com. -->
--> Want to read this story later, but afraid you'll forget where you saw it?
Just Topeka it.
Google led a wave of technology-related April Fool's Day gags Thursday morning, announcing on its homepage that the search-engine giant had changed its name to that of the Kansas town.
The announcement, along with the word "Topeka" replacing "Google" in the site's multicolored logo, is a riff on the city "renaming" itself Google for a month.
The stunt was part of the city's bid to be picked for Google's "Fiber for Communities" program, which Google says will provide Internet access 100 times faster than normal.
"We didn't reach this decision lightly; after all, we had a fair amount of brand equity tied up in our old name," Google ... er ... Topeka CEO Eric Schmidt said in a blog post. "But the more we surfed around (the former) Topeka's municipal website, the more kinship we felt with this fine city at the edge of the Great Plains."
The blog even gave a list of proper and improper usage of the new name. "Before our blind date, I did a Topeka search on him" got the green light, while "Before our blind date, I topeka'd him with AltaVista" did not.
The post did point out that the "honor" didn't mean Topeka has a leg up in Google's broadband plan.

Vancouver Olympics comes to a close!
Over a course of the month, the Vancouver Olympic games have been going on and today, they finally come to a close. I am currently watching the Closing Ceremony of the Olimpics. There is this really cool dance happening with snowboards, and the entire American team comes out along with all the other nations. I was also watching the Gold Men's Hockey game, and it was great! Except Canada won the game. Well, here is what happened. The game was going on, and Canada had 2 points, and America had 1 points. There was 10 seconds left of the game. Then suddenly, someone from the American team scored a goal!!!! Than the teams were tied, and the spectators were forced to overtime the game. So, they gave the players 20 extra minutes to play. The game was going good, and then it happened. The canadian team scored a goal, and the game was over. Oh,well. It was their home game so I guess they deserved to win it anyway. But the Olympics overall was great! My favorite sport was Ice skating. It was really fun to watch, and in the end, the Canadian skaters Tessa Virtue and Scott Moir won the group skate. South Korea's Kim Yu-Na won the womans skate, and America's Evan Lysachek won the mens skate. I was inspired by watching them, and now I wish to someday be in the Olympics, and join the fun, excitement, and adventure!!! : )
PS: I put a picture of South Korean Ice Skater Kim Yu-Na, and below that, a picture of the Winter Olympics stadium.

Well, over 80 countries will be participating in the games, and 1.8 million tickets are still available for the Olympics. The number of athletes playing is about 5000. The total cost of the entire Olympics is now estimated at about 1.76 billion dollars! That's alot of money! Anyway, those were some quick facts about the 2010 Winter Olympics. If you have any other questions, you can post a comment, and I will search it and reply for you. Ok,later!
