My Europe trip!!! (Part 2- Paris)

Hey guys!!! OK, in my previous post I told you about my London trip and once again, it was GREAT!!! Now i'll tell you about my Paris trip. Ok,so first we went there in a Euro Star train( Excellent food, excellent service, everything was excellent!!!) Then after we got there we went to the Ramada Paris hotel( Ramada again!!!) The day we got there we went to the Louvre( The biggest museum in the world!!!) We saw the MONA LISA there!!!!! They also had Nopoleon Bonoparte's house which we also saw. We also went to the Notre Dame, which is a church. It has like 450 steps which my family and i climbed up! The view was amazing!! The same day we went to the Arc de Triomph. It had 300 or so steps to the top, and I REALLY wanted to climb up it, because theres a museum on top. Unfortunatly, my parents were too tired, and refused. I already forced them to climb up the Notre Dame, so I guess its fair... After, we went home.
The next day we went to Versallies Palace. (Marie Antonette's home). The palace was huge! Then, after that we went to.....( the moment you all have been waiting for) THE EIFFLE TOWER!!!! It was awesome!!! We went all the way to the top, and saw the entire city of Patis! It was amazing! And every hour, lights blink on the tower. We were up there when it blinked!!! It was so cool! After all that excitement, we went to the Paris cruise for a night of relaxation. Then we went home.
The following day was our last day in Europe(So sad...). We spent it by going to the Monmarte Basillica. It was located on a giant hill, so there were these little elevators to take up and down. The view was beautiful. We went home, slept, and went to the airport the next day. Even though our trip was over, precious memories were left in my heart..... Until next time!!!

My Europe Trip!!! (Part 1-London)

Hey guys!!! Sorry I haven't posted anything in a long time!! I was really busy because I had to go to Europe for a week!! I had so much fun at Europe!! First we went to London, then we went to Paris.
Here are the details of the trip: First, we got on a plane and flew to Detroit, Michigan. From there we went on a long 7 hour plane trip to London, England. It was a long journey, but it was fun when we got there. So we got all our luggage, and went to our taxi. On the way to our hotel, we saw the "Change Of Guards". Its a parade about the changing of the guards that comes once every day. We were only staying in London for a few days, but we already saw the parade! Anyway, we went to Ramada, in London Docklands(a 4 star hotel) and we went to a suite. It was HUGE!!! It had 2 whole rooms, and big bathroom. It was great!! Then we rested a while, then took a subway to a cruise. The cruise was a lot of fun. Then directly after the cruise, we went to a restaurant and temple. Then we went home.
The next day we woke up, and got a ticket to a tour bus and saw London on a bus for a while. After, we went to the Victoria and Albert museum, Buckingham Palace, and the Queen's royal Muse. (an exhibition where they show you all of the queen's cars, and horses.) Before going home we went to the London Parliament where we saw an actual debate happening about the London laws. We also went to the London Eye, the biggest Ferris wheel in the world!!! And I went on it!! After that, we went to the Big Ben!! Its a world icon for London, and i saw it!! Then we went home.
The next day we went to Madam Tussuad's, a great wax museum with famous people figures in it. I took a picture with Obama's wax figure!! It was so cool! Then we went to the Tower Of London, on a ship, and saw the Kohinoor Diamond!!! It was kept in a big vault that is usually locked if no visitors are there.
Then our London trip was almost over. We were going to go to Paris!! We took a taxi to the Saint Pancras train station, and then we took a Euro Star train to Paris. The eurostar train was great!!! We ate lunch there! It was mashed potatoes with steamed vegatables and chocolate!! YUM!
Then we stopped in Paris.........To be continued tommorrow!!

Toy Story 3!!!

Hi guys!!! I haven't wrote a post in a long time, because I had too much homework in school but now that schools over, I can post a lot more. Ok, so me and my friend Krithi (she has her own blog) and her little sister Vicki went to the movies a few days ago, and we decided to watch Toy Story 3 in 3D, and it was an adorable, hilarious, and touching movie. I loved it, and all the charecters seem like real and have their own personality, No wonder the movie was rated 5 stars. Ok, so it the movie Andy (the toy owner) is going to college, and he need to do something with his toys. So he decides to put them in the attic, but his mom accidentely puts them in the trash. The toys managed to escape, but now they don't want to stay with Andy anymore, because hey thought that he wanted to throw them away. So they decide to go to Sunnyside.(Daycare) They thought it would be good there, but they later find out that all the toys are reallt mean, and they imprisioned them in the daycare. Especially a strawberry smelling bear called Lotso. When they escape, they accidentaly fall in the garbage truck, and they are almost boiled by the melter, but the green alien toys end up saving them. After that Lotso is found by another man and taken away. The toys come back to Andy's home, and he decides to donate them to his friend Bonnie's house. She takes them happily and Andy goes to College.

I got an apple laptop!!! : )

Hi guys! Good news! Guess what!? I got an apple laptop!!! : ) OK, let me tell you the whole story. It all started when I got a pink Sony laptop last year to do my homework on (I don't like the color pink, but I liked the laptop anyway). Then, approximately 1 year later, it died. Literally! First, one of my family members decided to spill water on the laptop, and it got all sticky and the buttons dried up and were really hard to push. (Actually, that family member was me!!!)Anyway, for a while I had to share my mom's Dell laptop and we had to constantly fight over it. Then, my parents decided to get me an apple laptop. I got really, really happy! I ordered the laptop two days ago on Amazon.com, and I got it yesterday from the UPS mailman. The service was really good, and I'm happy that I got it so fast! Talk to you later! Au Revoir! (That means good bye in french.) Bye!

Happy April Fool's Day!

Hey guys! I have a favor for you! Make sure to do it today, because its supposed to be for April Fools. Ok, go to www.google.com, and see what happens! DON'T READ ON PAST THE DOTS! It will ruin the surprise................................................................................
Ok, so did you see the website? Cool, right? Ok, so here is the explanation behind it. Read this artical from CNN.com. -->

--> Want to read this story later, but afraid you'll forget where you saw it?

Just Topeka it.

Google led a wave of technology-related April Fool's Day gags Thursday morning, announcing on its homepage that the search-engine giant had changed its name to that of the Kansas town.

The announcement, along with the word "Topeka" replacing "Google" in the site's multicolored logo, is a riff on the city "renaming" itself Google for a month.

The stunt was part of the city's bid to be picked for Google's "Fiber for Communities" program, which Google says will provide Internet access 100 times faster than normal.

"We didn't reach this decision lightly; after all, we had a fair amount of brand equity tied up in our old name," Google ... er ... Topeka CEO Eric Schmidt said in a blog post. "But the more we surfed around (the former) Topeka's municipal website, the more kinship we felt with this fine city at the edge of the Great Plains."

The blog even gave a list of proper and improper usage of the new name. "Before our blind date, I did a Topeka search on him" got the green light, while "Before our blind date, I topeka'd him with AltaVista" did not.

The post did point out that the "honor" didn't mean Topeka has a leg up in Google's broadband plan.
